The Profile Summary, which norms information normally found on a CV or resume, states the qualifications of a nominee.
The Nomination form allows the Nominator to explain how the qualifications listed on the Profile Summary have added value to the profession and society and will add value to the College.
When the Credentials Committee reviews these documents, all identifying information about the nominator is removed so that the Nominee is evaluated solely on their merits and not on who they know. The Profile Summary is on the top followed by the Nominator Support Statement, so each member of the Committee gets a broad view of the Nominees qualifications before reading the details provided by the Nominator. It is extremely important that the Nominator Support Statements demonstrate how the Nominee’s qualifications will bring value to the ACD and that the Nominee is someone who will work to advance the mission of the College.
Nominations for induction at the 2025 Annual Meeting and Convocation are due January 15! Nominations received after that date will be considered for 2026.
